"Male
Goldfinch have always been one of my favorite song birds. This painting
was inspired by a long wait in a bank tellers line. As I waited for my
turn at the wicket I noticed several male Goldfinch hard at work posturing
for each other in the tree outside. The brilliant yellows stood out among
the beautiful pinks of the spring blossoms, a combination I know I just
had to paint." |
