"A few kilometres away from my house is a bird and wildlife sanctuary, a wonderful place that I have spent many sunsets at. This composition was originally arranged with a pair of Hooded Mergansers, but the WHC stamp asked for a Blue Wing Teal and I had the perfect shots from a Nova Scotia photo shot to fit the lighting. The end result is one I am very happy with, a serene painting with a gentle mood. "
